Reading: It is recommended that you read for 30 minutes each dayHere are some websites that are great for reading. Just click on the words and they will take you to the webpages. You can also read books on the Sora App. I have students logins and passwords if needed.
Reading Comprehension: Below are some examples of questions you can ask your child about what they have read.

Week of May 4th - May 8thThis week I would encourage students to read for 20-30 minutes and answer one or more of the questions from the reading comprehension question file above. If my book comes in next week, I will try to begin my read-aloud in our facebook group, with links to the readings and questions on this website. My goal is to go live with my read-aloud at 9am.
Week of April 27th - May 1stDue to feedback, I will be stopping the Westing Game reading and activities. If your child would like to listen to the end of the book, the chapters can be found on Youtube. In the next few weeks, I plan on adding a read aloud on our Facebook page. You can tune in to the live event, or watch later. I will also be posting a question for students to answer. You can post their answers on the Facebook page. I will let you know when and what time this begins as I have not yet received the books.

While we were still in school, we began the book, "The Westing Game". Below are the chapters we have already read. Feel free to listen to them again. We were exploring the mystery genre. I will continue to add chapters for students to listen to, as well as a reading comprehension question and vocabulary inquiry. This can be done in lieu of the above activities.
